Aerosols are suspensions of fine particles in gases.  The discipline of aerosol science and engineering is considered an "enabling discipline" due to its wide ranging applications - from environmental atmospheric systems, combustion, energy, nanotechnology, electronics, pharmaceuticals and many others. 

A group of faculty from partner Universities of the McDonnell Academy have been working together in bilateral and multi-lateral formats on collaborative projects.  The objecives of this group are to promote interactions, discussions and spawning collaborative projects related to Aerosols, Air Quality and Health related issues.
